Join us for doubles every Sunday at 6:00pm through late September.  The buy-in is $3 with $1 going into the pot, $1 into the ace pot (which will carry over), and $1 into our concrete tee pad fund. We invite everyone to come out and join us.

We’re also considering throwing in a mixed doubles (that would be one guy and one gal) on a fairly regular basis.

We’re still trying to figure out the best way to pull this off and welcome any feedback and ideas.  Would it be best to require entrants to show up in mixed couples and then use a draw to shuffle them or allow singles and try to figure out what to do with any “leftovers” after the mixed doubles are set?

The 2^nd Annual North Bonneville Disc Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2009. We’ll have great t-shirts for all competitors, free soft drinks and water on the course and some of the coolest trophies in the disc golfing world.

The tournament is a low-key, fun and friendly event for disc golfers of all abilities. There are a few people who will be looking to lower the course record but most of the golfers will be there to enjoy the great golf course

We’ve moved a few of the holes around since last year to make it more interesting; the trees, blackberry brambles and the ever present Columbia Gorge wind are still here to make the course a challenge to any disc golfer.

And this year, in addition to the delicious post-tournament barbeque provided by our sponsor A&J Market, we’ll have a Walking Man beer garden! It doesn’t get much better than that.

Last year’s tournament (our very first!) drew competitors from all over the area, we even had a group from La Grande! The weather was cooperative; beautiful blue skies, moderate temperatures and just a little of that oh-so-famous Gorge wind which can make the game quite a challenge. We all had a great time and are looking forward to an even better time in 2009.
